The funny thing is that BOSS mustangs, not built for the track, needed Drag Radials to accomplish what the ZL1 can do on street tires. Even the 60ft times are equal. Thats the sexiness of the magnetic suspension. Great grip!
Even Mickey Thompson DRs are obsolete when compare to ZL1 tires according to GM press release:

So, that means you only shave 0.1s using MTs?? Thats economy. You dont have to buy DRs. ZL1 stock tires provides all the grip you're going to need at the strip where this car can shine too. According to the same press release:

There you have it folks. Not only the ZL1 is beast on the road course, but it has special modifications just to run at the drag strip. Best of both Worlds.
