I've also had problems trying to acquire a ZL1 as well. Dealerships show on their website that they have one only to find out that they "may" have one on the way. Eventually when it shows up it's immediately sold. It's been a major tale of frustration for me.
This is why I'm ordering a 2013 ZL1 instead.
