True. Here the thing, I haven't heard Ford boast that their GT500 will outperform the ZL1. In fact, they have been pretty humble about what their car car do. They let us know the final hp and tq numbers and that their car was bench marked on the Ford GT and a bit on the Boss. Pony do the smack talking for them. I have always said, the ZL1 may end up slower in any venue but the ZL1 will be easier to drive and go fast on, especially for people like me who love the roadcourse and this is why i have no desire or the new snake and the ZL1 will replace my
SS. If the new GT500 ends up only a a tenth or two faster than the current GT500 then that would be a great shame but Ford hasn't been overly boastful about what it can do. I like my SS but it's a fat slow pig that is good at only long sweepers without after market suspension help. I love my GT500 but can't use all that power without nice DRs and despite SVT's magic on the SRA set up, I do wish for an IRS as icing on the cake. Knowing my driving preference, the ZL1 is my pick for my next toy, why not the Boss? Simply because the Camaro has always been my fav but I'm not one who cant have an open mind to any arguments against it.

When you can afford both does it really matter? LOL
