It seems to me the ZL1 developers have been fairly open about the capabilities of the ZL1 down to the videos showing it's performance potential both at the drag strip and on road courses. The videos even teach you how to replicate the performance numbers they profess. I believe the GT500 is a great car and if it outperforms the ZL1 on every performance measure it will be good in the end for performance car enthusiasts. We will see better 1/4 mile times from the ZL1 and I guarantee you the next issue of all the major car magazines will have at least a comparison between the current GT500 and the ZL1.
