I really wouldn't worry about something being to "tech heavy" for any forum. There are always technicians on these forums who will find articles like these interesting and informative. They will use them to add to their arsenals of information.
I would never be afraid of posting something thinking it might be too tech heavy for people. There will always be people on forums who really take something away from things like this.
