The ZR1 has the same magnetic suspension how come the ZR1 can't even come close to matching 1.6x 60 foot time on the stock tires? Here is an article about a ZR1 pulling a 1.58 60 foot time on drag radials:

So you are going to try to tell me that the ZL1 with stock tires will pull a 60 foot time close to that? If you believe that then I have some swamp land in florida to sell you.

EDIT:

Nice to see the ZL1 can pull better 60 foot times then almost all of the ZR1's on the drag times list (even the ones with DR's)

Just because a stock ZL1 ran a great 1.6981 60 foot time, doesn't unequivocally prove that that time was run using Drag Radials.

The ZR1 does not have the same Magnetic Ride Control suspension as the ZL1.

A 1.6981 second 60 foot time is 7.5 percent slower than a 1.58 second 60 foot time.

Also, 60-foot times are dependent upon many things such as traction, gearing, launch rpm, staging depth, how hot or cold the track and tires are, track conditions, etc.

If one wants to obtain a truly apples to apples comparison between a ZR1 and a ZL1, one would need to use the same driver on the same track on the same day.
