Yes, just follow the directions on the back of the tube- apply thin bead and wait 10mins. before assembly, I believe. Cures in 12-24hrs?
I had some nuts that fit and assembled my Mace and let it cure (off the car) overnight. Then put the IM/spacer on as a unit and it simplifies things a great deal. Just a suggestion
