And for the record I agree with your assessment. The 3M tape thing is dissapointing. But I'm sure they have some testing to substantiate the decision to use it... I was obviously a poor one.
We all agree that mistakes do happen right? Poor decisions will be made, and this won't be the last, "woops" on this car. Brand new car from the ground up will have problems.

It is a new car yes, from the ground up? no. the zeta platform has been around for quite a while now and gets it core from the holden commodore and the chevy lumina. the ls3 is out of a c6 corvette, the body is new of course.
