Nothing wrong with that at all. It's just IF I went to say a Mustang forum I am not going to post a thread on how great my car is or have a poll about do you think the new Camaro is cool or whatever. It's not appropriate in my opinion. Now if someone asked me a question about my car that's one thing, but I would not go there to make my car the center of a thread. It will only lead to bickering, flaming etc.
