no i don't think it is, i think that every fuel pump is different and cuts off at a different point when refueling. maybe if you went to the same pump every time you would get more static results when compared to the DIC, but i believe the DIC should be almost 100% accurate.

when i lived in austin with my ls1, i also drove city only. and i got a good 4-5mpg better than when i later moved to dallas. city driving in one city doesn't always equal city driving in another city. guess that's why you get 29mph average and i get 18...
