Cities should do more to educate motorists about the potential consequences of speeding, drinking and driving and or reckless operation. It seems all they're interested in is citing you for the violation and taking your money. You get no literature, videos, a good talking to.... nothing, except a yellow copy demanding your cash. That's all they want. I don't believe cities (as a government) really want you to slow down, but they do want your money- so much that they'll throw you in jail if you don't pay up.
