Guess I wouldn't count on the tire being covered for everything.

thats what you get with a foreign job. But most insurances arent going to cover your curbing it which is going to take an awful big blow to do some damage. But under normal defects they ARE covered under the warranty, and the tires should be covered under blow out protection, now flats and stuff different story, maybe dealer would offer road hazard for like 80 bucks but 500 bucks no way
