I'm in the same boat, have a 2012 and sold original wheels/tires. Bought new from Wheel Specialists, these have Oro-tek (
http://www.oro-tek.com/) brand TPMS, I was told that GM tool works (also bought winters from Rudy @ Tirerack, dealer did re-set those with tool). Took to local dealer for these new ones, didnt work, tried manual way, didnt work, no response from Wheel Specialists when I asked what tool they should have or any other solutions.
Did you figure this out? Does anyone know if the tool we can now buy from GM works? Maybe my local dealer has an old version. Of course now I'm stuck between dealer, wheel dealer and Oro-Tek ....
