Sorry...didn't have my glasses on at the time and thought I read 'air' filter in there.

I still wouldn't change anything until after the 1500 miles. That's the break-in that GM states is required so most likely there will still be metal shavings and the such building up after 500 miles and parts still lapping in. If it were me I would drive it back to Seattle and then change all the lubes. Then drive it like you stole it!
