I can vouch for Scotty, he is a good guy. I prefer this forum over 5thgen since it has more users. I disagree with this forum's censoring of political talk and perhaps sometimes the locking of threads that are deemed GM bashing when they clearly are not. (Yes, this is about the IOM front fascia thread). This forum does seem to follow requests when GM asks them too since they want to keep getting the favor's they have been getting and the continuing of GM's presence in posts. I may not agree with everything that goes on behind the scenes however being someone who has been a member for a long time I have read almost every thread that has shown up on here.. And I'm sure if stats are kept for simply browsing around without posting a response every time I would be close to the top of the list.
My point by saying all this above is that I don't kiss anybody's rear and I always stay true to my beliefs and heart. With that said, I hope this little incident with Scotty gets settled quickly so we can all move on from this. If Scotty likes the other forum better, it is a free country and that is his right. As for those saying he is just a salesman and has to be nice and so forth really don't know Scotty at all.. He is someone who has integrity and takes his time talking to his customers. His job relies on sales and you can argue he is a great salesman and being nice is just an act. However I am a pretty good judge of character and I can tell you he is a class act that cares about what he does. Just like Fbodfather, CamaroScotty loves what he does and there are few people who can say they do. So Scotty, if and when you read this..If you prefer 5thgen.org over this forum, then simply tell us why and everyone here should respect that opinion and move on. If you feel a member of 5thgen.org should have gotten the first cyber grey Camaro for whatever reason, then so be it.. Perhaps it was a favor that got that to happen or not, does it really matter either way? Both of these forums have done their part in helping GM sell their Camaro. I would say that both forums have their positives and negatives. Some here will argue that Camaro5 does get more traffic and perhaps is more worthy in some respects so it should have gotten more favors. I don't buy that argument at all.. If anybody should have gotten any favors it should be every member of both forums that have pre-ordered a Camaro equally... However at times I do question why some are getting cars sooner than others and that is a fair thing to question.
Ultimately I think everyone here in this forum can agree that we as a community have our ups and downs..However just remember that there are more important things in life to worry about. For one Stephanie.. If you don't know about Stephanie's situation, then click this thread..

And I lost my Aunt to an aneurysm at the start of May..She was only six years older than me and like my big sister. That has put a lot into perspective.. So lets all move on from this and grow up as I have the last couple of weeks as she struggled to survive and lost the battle. However what is most important in life is up in Heaven and the big man in charge.. I'm out...Peace..
