The Car definately needs a real custom tune. Just doing what you mentioned is not good at all. There are tuners who have been tuning for years who don't have clue what is going on. It boils down to finding someone who knows the fundamentals of tuning. Like everything else, if there is a good foundation then it is likely the tune in the car will be right. Adding and taking away from tables blindly will get you into trouble. I have seen many other shop tunes and all it looks like is bandaids, unfortunately. Patrick and TampaTuning has given some excellent advice.
