Bingo...like you I deal in metrics, MBPs, Goal Deployment, Strategy Maps, and in the middle of an Oracle transition for 3 manufacuturing facilities this year. Kaizens, Six Sigma...you name it and I am a Regional Sales Manager, but its not about sales, its processes that run business now. So removing the emotion, and thinking about business...when do you want revenue to hit the books...before you file, or after when it goes in the plus column of the new company? I have pretty much given up on trying to communicate the rationales because many won't get it, but if they understand this...it lays some anger to rest. I have been waiting since 10/15 and my dealer just last week was able to get info from GM because they weren't even getting calls back in relation to their sold orders. There is nothing underhanded going on here, just business.
