I am a new member as well. I was planning on waiting until next year for a ZL1, but the bug bit me hard....the last Camaro I ever drove was a 25th Anniversary and that was a friends car. I test drove two different 5th gen SS's: a 2011 and a 2012. Great cars, both of them, but I wanted to see what the ZL1 could do myself before deciding. Then my dealer got a ZL1 in and I took it for a test drive
and I was sold.
You can always make a car go faster in a straight line, but amazing all-around performance costs a pretty penny even if you can wrench it yourself. If you go ZL1, you will never regret it...
