It looks very similar to a color used on 2005 Impalas called "Laser Blue Metallic" at least in the pictures. Being a pace car though probably means the color means nothing. In 2001 the Monte Carlo that paced the brickyard 400 was Smoooth Yellow (a B-E-A-Utiful metallic flake yellow paint) from Dupont as were several of the pace cars for the 2002 season in NASCAR. The 2002 "Pace Car Edition" that was released was released in "Competition Yellow" a color that was no where near the actual pace car color.
