Heh - well, the Monaro is nearly stock (see my signature) but I've spent a long time looking at costs for things like superchargers, wheels, brakes, suspension etc.
In this case, with less than 1000 cars in the country, it's a very expensive game. For some reason the hub layout (bolt pattern, offset etc) is unique and makes wheels almost impossible to source. We have specialists doing exhausts, suspension and brakes (brakes, being AP are $5000 in your money) and superchargers are about $12k in your money. So, mine has stayed relatively simple - just tightened up the handling and made it a little noisier.
With the Camaro being one of these "global brand" cars, if it appears here with the steering wheel on the correct side for our roads, we shall see HUGE aftermarket add-ons. Cheaper too since GM want to sell 100k+ of these things.
I cannot wait to see what happens!
