I'm sure the Chevy guys will take sales wherever they can find them. The Camaro SS has always been a pretty close competitor to the performance oriented twin turbo 335 BMWs both in handling and in straight line performance. I do believe Chevy wanted to impress the world with the fact that the ZL1 is a world class car....the evidence is clear when they released the Nurburgring times and annihilated many of Europe's best performance sports cars. Certainly if the ZL1 beat the Boss 302 LS around VIR by more than 2 seconds, it will clearly beat the BMW M3 and for $30K less.
