I'm wondering how many of you have had a manual V8 Camaro before? This wasn't around for 3G Camaros, but it certainly was for 4G F-bodies. I can't (for certain) remember if it was on my '94 Z28, but I know for sure it was on my 97 WS6 Formula, my 96 LT4 Vette, and my 01 Z06 Vette. The dongle for $25-$30 is simple to install. It is literally plug and play. Well, you do have to use a few zip-ties, but that's no big deal.
I would gladly do it. had 4 cars in a row where I had to shift gears, and now I'm driving an 07 Toyota Tundra RCSB 5.7L w/ 6spd Auto. I certainly like the auto - I hadn't had one since the 93 Silverado I once had.
I'm kinda curious about the 6spd auto in the Camaro. Is there much history on it yet (used in other platforms by GM)?
