Well, I just laid out all reasoning for not shipping, and what it would take if one wants it shipped. This way if I let a packing place do the packing, the responsibility falls in them. I ship all kinds of stuff weekly for other forums and I have my own FedEx personal account, but these i just don't trust them with and I don't want liability or to have to fight with them if something happens. I don't use the shipping/packing places because they are expensive, but if someone wants one of these and is willing to pay for the shipping and insurance in it, I'll ship it to alaska. Makes no difference at this point to me.
Long and short is I don't want to be the responsible party for "packing" this item.
