Way too many people upset about how long their cars are taking to get built. Intentional or not GM mislead people with the pre-orders. Rule of thumb always has been when you order a car it should take no longer than 12 weeks to get. Somtimes as few as 7 or 8.
It's just my opinion but I think if a company cannot deliver a car within 12 weeks of the time the order was taken they should:
1. Refuse the order or
2. State clearly in the purchase agreement that delivery date is unkown.
Also for those who ordered cars and their dealer was honest with them stating they had no idea when the car would be coming in, I don't think you have a beef. Be disappointed
but you were basically warned that delivery was a crap shoot.
