Historical definitions aside,
If you drive a classic American car with a big block and SRA suspension then you consider the 5th gen a sports car.
If you drive anything from a Civic to a Nismo 370Z you probably consider the 5th gen a muscle car.
It's all relative to the context of who you are talking to.
