Remember, wear and tear is not covered under warranty no matter how long it is. If things don't break in properly they can wear out early and it will be 100% out of your pocket. And really, even if it was covered, do you really want to have to take your car in for a really long repair just because you couldn't wait 1 week to do a burnout? An engine rebuild will put your car in the shop for a very long time. Then you are completely without your Camaro and will have to go through the hassles of rental cars...etc.
