Wasn't the Cobra just a limited edition of the Mustang? I don't understand if IRS is so irrelevant in the Mustang why does the Camaro have it?

The cobra wasn't a limited edition, just another trim level. The GT more for the everyday joe, the cobra more for the performance enthusiast.
