The day was finally here. It was March 29th, 2009. The car was as ready for its heart transplant. The heart was complete and ready to put in.
Raising the body up over the LT1 and kframe assembly:
Lowering it down:
Bam!
Tight fit!
Kframe bolted up, car lifted back onto the wooden blocks.
Close enough to start the engine:
