The solo's don't fit as well as the new buyer expects them to, but if you follow the advise in the diy, it's easy to get them installed. I suggest you have a competent helper for install day.

I had one rear O2 sensor screwed directly into the pipe with no extender for a few days. It never threw a CEL. The only problem i ran across that reliably threw a CEL was a leak at the manifold flange.

You just have to be careful lining everything up before you tighten down the bolts, and be sure not to over-torque. Over-tightening the bolts resulted in a leak at the flange every time. 18-20 ft/lbs has worked like a charm this last time through.
