No personal knowledge w/ the planes. I just figure the military wants this thing as well hidden as possible. The biggest asset the bomber has?...it's ability to hide from radar. Would the military want this plane hidden on the ground as well? I would have to say
hell yeah!! I just saw the reflective paneling and noticed it wasn't put up perpendicular to the planes wing....it was put up at an angle as well. It just looked to me like if something was coming at the plane, they would want it to be easily directed right over it w/ minimal interference as possible....thus, leading me to believe they were attempting to hide it from radar.
That's pretty cool. I wasn't 100% sure, but it was my best edumakated guess.
