GT500 = better car in performance, harsher ride, less consistent, for pros/really good drivers this car will give them the best results.

ZL1 = close second in terms of performance, much better ride, much more consistent, for 95% of people out there this car will give them the best results.

Don't know why my buddies on the forum can't get their mind around that. Give where it's due.
