I don't know if this has been stated, and I seriously doubt fbodfather would mislead us by telling us to forget about what we know about engines in suggesting an engine slated for production in the second or third model year run (Gen V).
What I think he is telling is were getting something new the FIRST year. (please give me a yes or no on this fbod, no details necessary
) So, hopefully we can assume this is a revised 6L not just the L76, it could be the direct decendent of the LS1. I'm not good at naming GM engines so isnt the LS8 left over? lol. Anyways, its not like the L76 doesnt have potential if its retuned for performance anyways it is still a 6L after all.
