Wow, another self admitted clueless driver who doesn't know how to drive muscle cars around the track. It reminds me of that pathetic Automobile Magazine test with another self admitted single laps winner.
Thankfully, the big three car magazines found the GT500 to be as fast or a hair faster around the road courses than the ZL1. The GT500 truly is an engine in search of a chassis, and until it finds one, it will have to be satisfied with being just a hair faster than the ZL1 around a road course, and a lot faster at the drag strip.
