I decided to go out to the track again tonight. Ran a 13.60, in much hotter conditions. It was ~92 degrees at the time of the run. Worst part is the ticket guy was changing out the paper so no ticket
I was letting off a little after 1000' to keep my time slow enough so my wife could ride with me, and I didn't have a helmet. Then I just slowly crept up to about 13.75 with out them saying anything. Then the final run was a 13.60 and they told me to lose the passenger and find a helmet

I was just glad that once I stopped letting off that I kept improving my time with each pass. And most importantly me and the wife had some fun
