This is THE car I've been waiting for them to release! -- I was thinking preorder a RY and adding stripes (and from the read of it - thank God I didn't due to all the delays!).... now I'm glad I waited BUT....
they seriously need to get this one right with the paint.
If they got the paint spot on, I'd pay the money for it without any regrets! What's it worth to you to be done right? For me; if they said it is $4000 more MSRP for the correct paint job, I'd be like "OK!" Considering it's being done in the build process and easier done that way, I think that's a win win for both partys!
