The service technician that's working on my ZL1 seems to be going the extra mile in getting this car back to "new". My trust in production GM cars; however, has taken a pretty big hit unfortunately. In the brief chat I had with customer service, I was offered a year's worth of tire rotations and oil changes on a vehicle whose tires cannot be rotated and oil that lasts the better part of an entire year.
Thanks for posting all of this information. I do not have a ZL1 but am very concerned about this. I would also forward this thread, and photos, to the appropriate GM contacts.

Also, I believe there is a GM Customer Service rep(s) that sometimes monitor these threads, you should be able to search/find them and also forward them some information. The more you get this out, the more likely you will get the issue corrected to your satisfaction.

I hope this gets resolved so you are fully satisfied with the car, as it should have been from day 1.
