A convertors stall rpm depends on a lot of factors. The same convertor will stall at different rpm in different cars. Weight, horsepower and gearing are the main factors. I'd talk to a convertor specialist like TCS, tell them everything you have (when I did my race car they even wanted my cam card) and they will get you the best convertor.
