RI tint laws are though in RI. I believe it has to have 75% visibility all around which means any tint at all is breaking the law. You could get by with an AS1 on the front but more tha that ad they can bust your Ballz. If you went light they might leave you alone. I know for a fact Paul's been harassed for his. lol
As for exhaust that's a grey area. As long as you have cats and you aren't throwing codes you should be fine for inspection (off road pipes might squeak through). I have BBK LT's with High flows and a Corsa catback. It's not bad at idle so normally there's no issues, but when you give it some throttle it gets LOUD! When I first put the LT's on I got pulled over twice in the first week because they assumed I was speeding from a stop. Now I slowly pull away and short shift when I see cops just in case.
