Good to know the batmobile is ok. I am somewhat relieved that on mine, at least, it appears to be a defective hood that made it thru QC (Which happens) and thru the PDI.
The picture I just posted on the second page was literally 5 minutes after the dealership with 5 miles on the car of extremely light driving.
So it appears to be a defective part that should easily be replaced.
Now I'm thinking of acceptable fixes from the dealership. I don't know if these can be polished out but if they can: acceptable.
If it has to be replaced I want it in writing that if they don't replace it within a certain time frame I will return the car for a full refund.
If the fix is to replace the ECF with a wrapped one, that's also fine but better come with a $600 refund check.
If they don't like that, then they can supply me with a wrapped one until they get an ECF one and then they can replace it in full with no $600 refund.
I still want to call Chevy's attention to this though so I will be calling customer service tomorrow.
