Being an LEO myself I will say that running plates on people like you guys ( guys doing nothing wrong for the most part lol) is actually more of a good thing. This is how we locate more stolen vehicles then any other way. So its really good pratice and someday may recover one of our prized possession. Its all in good faith. We are not out to get you, but would love to be the LEO that returns an owners stolen C5 because I ran the plates.
