Yes, that is what I did. Actually if you PM him your VIN or just the last 8 digits of your VIN, and your email address. He will email you the build sheet. It copies over better and easier this way. Then you can get a nice print out of it. I think the date on the frame under the hood is usually one or two days or so before the actual build date of the car.
