"Jap" companies? You may be showing your bias...the Japanese have perfected the art of auto making, we could learn a lot from them.
Loan? So.....when do you think GM will "pay back" the monies they have been given? Honestly? Man, take the blinders off. Since when should poor performance and customer service be rewarded.
Honestly, just admit it..you are a Chevy fanboy and that is what you like. Just admit it, and you may actually get an ounce of respect here.

So I'm not an American because I agree with the bailouts? Fine, that's what you think. I'm glad we have leaders that are smart enough to realize that the economy will go with these companies. Yup, you found my bias. I think that Jap cars are garbage. I've never driven one that I found worth buying, which is saying a lot with my dad owning two jap-car dealerships. I am not a "fanboy" and I don't have any blinders on. I know what product I like, and that happens to be great American cars. I also love European cars. I'd be just as pissed if Ford (who got billions of dollars a few years ago), Chrysler, Mercedes, BMW, Lotus, Porsche, Lambo, Bugatti, or anything that makes products that I like went out of business. This one just touches me closer. My dad's biggest dealership is an American car company, and my city's economy is largely based off of car manufacturing. It would be ridiculous if I were okay with that many Americans losing their jobs because I wouldn't buy a car -- even if my family wasn't in the business.
BTW, it sounds like I'm calling you dumb through a lot of this, and that is not at all intended. I talk in a demeaning way without realizing it a lot of the time. I just have a different opinion than you do, I don't judge your intelligence at all.
