You will notice that I said silicone grease which doesn't hardly change viscosity with temperature so it will stay put. I didn't intend that to be the permanent fix but since it never squeaked again I didn't do any more. Then GM bought the car back and my 2013 is quiet. Hope you get it fixed because mine was really loud at times. I still suspect it is the bumpers because that is the only contact point for the fifth bow in the back.
