That is just the cost of the hood. You will find the price competative with other hoods of the same quality and limited production runs. You will however need to have it painted. The high quality of the product will require minimal preparation time, in order to have it ready for paint.
Just ask anyone who has purchased a lower quality hood, how many man hours it takes in order to get them show quality.
Also, we are using only the best materials, so that you don't have to worry about distortion from engine heat and the elements.
Our hoods carry a 5 year warranty.
