We had a discussion about this regarding how the Hot Rod Power Tour pretty much stays in the Central US now. Sure they have readers everywhere, but the bulk of their subscribers are in this area, and they know that.
I know everybody would love to have the fest in their hometown, but I think keeping it centrally located is crucial to a good turnout. Indy has the racing history and ability to handle major events. Our city is accessible from all sides and within a days drive to many locations. We are also close for GM to bring their cars and employees to. If we could get the Speedway involved, there is your cruise location AND laps on the track. I vote for an autox on the F1 track
