The Carbon was a fantastic car, I liked everything about it and I do miss it but I'd sold my 2ss vert and my 1lt RS (which is what my wife drove) to help buy it. In the end I had one of the best cars I've ever owned but I'd sold all my Camaros. I love Corvettes but deep down I'm a camaro guy, I've owned over a dozen f-body's and a 5th gen for every year they've been in production, I need a camaro in my life lol.
So I sold the vet even though it pained me, placed an order for a ZL1 as the platform for what I decided to make (in my eyes) the ultimate Camaro. A 9 sec daily driver that drives smooth as factory. Oh and I bought the wife a 2ss 45th vert. The gentleman that now owns my Carbon gets all his work done at 510 Race Engineering so I still get to see it at least. Of course I gave my friend Randy specific instructions that Rubeus is to walk away from my old Carbon when we go out to track days
Of course I'll be first in line to place an order for a C7 ZR1(or the equivalant if the trim were to change) when they become available. It'll be beautiful parked next to my fast car
jk. But I won't be selling Rubeus XIII to pay for it, I need to have a Camaro and besides I do rather prefer the camaro when I put in around 60 or miles on it a day.
