If you brake heavy it should not make the noise. It is during a specified pressure that the noise comes from the pads. It is due to the metals used in the pads that causes this. Thus why ceramic pads doesn't suffer from this problem... but they also don't grip as well as perfomance pads do.

I am lucky enough to have many friends with 911s, Z06s, R8s, etc. etc. their brakes don't squeal. Like I said, my 2SS/RS brakes do not squeal and it has the "high performance brakes"
