I managed to lift out the 58mm remaining length or so but without removing the whole IM I'm guessing the end of the bolt is sitting firm in the block.
I needed the car for work today so decided to test drive it last night and everything seems fine, for example no spluttering due to any leaks so hopefully I will be ok until I get a replacement bolt. My worry though is what to do if the bolt end is still in the thread, would it be safe to drill out? Where would the debris end up? Any help would be appreciated.
Also any idea what to order as a replacement bolt and where to get it (as I said its the 60mm one)?

Well began pulling her back apart tonight and was surprised to find the snapped piece of bolt sticking out the socket by about 1/4 inch

I was able to remove the bolt with only my fingers, needed the pliers a couple of times just to free it a little but it came out with no issues. I just need my new bolts and I can put it all back together
EDIT: well it didn't turn out aswell as I'd hoped. Almost unbelievably I did the exact same thing when I installed it the second time around - this time though the bolt was lodged too deep and I couldn't remove it. All said and done and after a tow to ARD who got me sorted and back on the road I now know how to correctly use a torquing wrench
Car is now running like a dream - many thanks to ARD !!
