I can't quote that post. DAMN YOU FORUMS!!!!

I know weight counts for a lot of things, but it's not as if the Camaro is falling on its ass with the weight. It seems to be an excuse for the Mustang guys to pick at (though they fail to mention the GT500 weighs more than the Camaro). I'm not saying the car shouldn't be lighter, I'm just saying "BUT OMG IT'S SO HEAVY" is a stupid thing to say when your personal favorite car is losing to it.

Yep, no doubt about the 0-60. However, that's not really the showing of power. 0-60 is mostly about launch and traction (though of course power is important!). You can't forget that the 1/4 mile is .5 apart with a 6 mph difference.

I don't know what category the Camaro is beating it by only a tenth of a second; both the 0-60 (by 0.2) and the 1/4 mile by (0.5 with a 6 mph difference) has the Camaro topping the Mustang. Of course better drivers can probably improve times for both cars. However, I don't understand how performing better then the other car is 'pointless'. These are real numbers that actually exist in production, while people are talking about the performance of an engine that isn't even in the car.

Again, can't really comment on the quality of the interior, but I like the Mustang's better.

I haven't seen any comparisons of the GT without the track pack so I can't comment on that. Link to that?

As for the exhaust, I heard that the Mustang is the best and don't doubt it one bit.

NOTE: I love the Mustang and think it performs great, but it's annoying that in any conversation about the Camaro and the Mustang it has to turn into a conversation about how the Mustang will win in the future.
