Sorry to hear this happened to you, but getting a new engine is a good outcome. If they wanted to tear it down and rebuild (as they often do), you would have a legitimate concern...
My advice: let them replace the engine, take the car back and see if you have any further issues. If they damaged any paint replacing the engine, make them pay to have it repainted.
A failure like this is extremely rare (from any car company these days). I suspect that you will be happy with the new engine if you give it a chance.
